Your hosts, Robert and Sandy Brown have lived and farmed in the Nevis Valley for 27 years. Road access is by way of a 1,300m pass over the Carrick Range to Cromwell.

 The pass is closed by snow for up to two months during winter, and it was the need to remain mobile during these closures which introduced Robert and Sandy to the joys of snowmobiling.

Nevis Snowmobile Adventure is their way of sharing a part of the station's unique winter setting with the rest of the world.
